Cellista

Bio:

Cellista is a performance artist & composer and the director of the indie label and publishing company Juxtapositions.
She is known for her collaborations with artists across various media, as well as directing stage poems (live performances staged in unconventional spaces that incorporate elements of classical music, theater, improvisation and visual art across a range of genres.

Her multimedia noise opera Transfigurations toured nationally in 2019 to critical acclaim.
This Fall marks the debut of RAGE, a dance film directed and scored by Cellista, based on the philosophical book The Irrelevance of Power by Dr. Frank Seeburger.
The book, published by Juxtapositions became the foundation for the dance film.

Cellista serves as an elected chapter governor of the SF Recording Academy (Grammys) and recently graduated with a masters degree in business from Berklee College of Music.

Cellista plays a Luis & Clarke carbon fibre cello and an 1885 Czech cello named Chordelia.
